As the world grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, many young people have been left feeling uncertain about their future. But the pandemic has also created opportunities for young people to step up and show their resilient spirit. That’s why Rise Challenge 2023 is calling on young people from all nationalities to participate in a unique global competition.

Rise Challenge 2023 is a partnership between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Fuji Xerox Foundation. The competition is open to young people aged 18-30 from all over the world. There are no geographical restrictions.

The competition focuses on finding innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. These include climate change, sustainable development, inclusive growth, and the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

There are two parts to the competition. The first is an online submission. This is where participants will submit a written proposal outlining their solution to one of the four challenge themes. The second part is an on-site event, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan in December 2023. This is where participants will present their proposals to a panel of judges.

The top prize is $10,000. But there are also prizes for the second and third place winners. In addition, all participants will receive a certificate of participation.

So, if you’re aged 18-30 and you have an innovative solution to one of the world’s most pressing challenges, then Rise Challenge 2023 is for you!
